Thesis film by Jackie Aldern, remounted as an installation.

An investigation of Aldern's personal landscapes surrounding the mountainscape of Indianhead Mountain in Borrego Springs, CA. 

​

The production design for this piece involved a meticulous recreation of the mountain-scape surrounding her hometown by following a topographical map from a recent geographical census. 

​

The installation which resulted involved conversations in personal landscapes between the lead artist and the collaborators involved, a collection of artists from different countries, in order to provide a soundscape to the film/installation, as well as a documentation of the construction/deconstruction of the mass of the mountain.
